![]() After beating him, he's killed by Meta Knight, who is then Hadoken'd by Ryu, the true boss for that level. It's not so much as a boss, as a Simon Says sequence. There's no need to backtrack unless you want to hunt all the treasures in the game, and even then, it's even easier thanks to the warp capsules that take you to the Nexus. It always uses Sand Attack after confusion, and never uses a move twice in a row. Roulette: Missingno chooses the moves it uses at random, with a few exceptions. Advancing Boss of Doom: Mega Man's final phase involves him turning giant and trying to run you over. The game is quite fun, but lives up to the Nintendo Hard standards of all the other I Wanna Be the Guy fangames out there.īeing a fangame, most of the tropes from I Wanna Be the Guy are present as well (but more so), including Nintendo Hard, One-Hit-Point Wonder, Platform Hell, Trial-and-Error Gameplay, Spikes of Doom and the like. Naturally, there are a few references to the source of Boshy such as restarting from a save cuing a soundclip of "It's Boshy time!", the death sound clips are all Boshy quotes, and secret area modeled after the Twitch streams where you can fight the site's infamous Kappa emoticon and then unlock it as a playable character. You don't have to play as Boshy throughout the entire game, as you can play as other characters, such as Pedobear, Ness, The Kid, and more. You play as Boshy (named after Boshy of Boshytime, a gaming stream that at some point streamed IWBTG), a yellow triangle with an Exclamation mark on it wielding a gun. This game is notable for having Gratuitous Swearing, lagging horribly on certain computers, a co-op mode, and visually stunning graphics. I would say that the gameplay feels like a cross between Super Meat Boy and Super Ghouls & Ghosts so that right there tells you what a tough time you are in for.I Wanna be the Boshy is a IWBTG fangame made by Solgryn using MMF2. What I think shows how good this game is, is the way that it can be very frustrating, but the game is so much fun you think that if you have just one more try, you will get past that section which has seen you die 2 thousand times. It really is tense stuff and there is a lot of trial and error here. You have to have one eye on what is right in front of you and the other eye on what is coming next. ![]() ![]() It is all about your reactions and how quick you can react to what is happening. This is a platforming game that pretty much gives you no time to think. ![]() ![]() It is super tough! This is a platform game where you have to move at 100 miles per hour. There is a reason that I Wanna Be the Boshy is so popular with streamers. From a boss fight with a giant and evil Hello Kitty to my personal favorite, The Cheetah Men! How on earth does someone thing to put the Cheetah Men in a game like this? Well, I am glad they did and I Wanna Be the Boshy is full of fun Easter eggs like this that will make you smile…… before making you cry. Now you, of course, have your staples like Mario, Sonic and so on, but I love ho obscure this game gets. Each level has its own theme and is based around some old school video game. You know how the movie Ready Player One features a ton of fan service and you always wonder what kind of reference it was going to throw your way next? Well, you can amplify that to about a level 100 with I Wanna Be the Boshy. ![]()
